Heal This Cancer (poem)

Heal this cancer
Cure it everywhere
Give us answer
Further proof You care

But if not, save us
Bring us close to You
Love as pure love must
More proof that Your truth is true

For what's known is not always believed
What our faith says, not always known
And our hope may be drained like a sieve
Love's prayer feels as if echoes alone

This cancer, I ask You, please heal it
Please do so, I beseech Thee Almighty
But if I may not lawfully appeal it
May I suffer with You and not fight Thee
